Cheapest Crypto Prop Firms: Every Challenge Fee Compared
A low sticker price is not the same as a cheap challenge. We rank every firm by what $10,000 of funding really costs, with resets and refunds counted.
CoinW's prop product from $15, with static floors but capped 14-day payouts and a 10-day holding limit
Long-running forex firm with cheap programs, but only BTC and ETH CFDs and low crypto leverage
Cheap multi-asset firm whose two new crypto challenges still lack a written rulebook
Kraken-owned firm with two equity limits, $20 entry and on-demand USDC payouts
Breakout's 1-step plans sold inside Kraken Pro from $20, paid to your Kraken wallet within 24 hours
No-KYC Dubai firm with $24.90 entry and USDT payouts, but strict funded payout gates
Hyperliquid perps from $25, no consistency rule, and 80% paid in USDC on chain with a public hash
Cheap, US-friendly perps priced off Hyperliquid, held back by 1:2 altcoin leverage and partner-only payouts
Cheap, well-documented forex firm, but only BTC and ETH at 1:1 once funded, auto-closed daily without Swing
Cheap one-phase crypto challenges with no consistency rule, but a tight static floor and no payout ledger
White-label crypto challenge with a 90% split, but a two-way 3% daily cap and payouts once a month
The cheapest crypto prop firms depend on how you measure cost. Per $10,000 of funding, The5ers' Bootcamp wins at $23.00: $575 for a $250,000 account, split into $225 upfront and $350 once you are funded. If you only care about the cost of an attempt, WenCrypto's pay-later plan and Fundedbit's Fast Track both cost $5 upfront, with the rest due only after you pass. For the lowest sticker price, RebelsFunding sells a $1,000 Copper account for $9.
Among crypto-first firms, Breakout's Turbo is the value pick at $33.00 per $10,000 with no consistency rule, and HyroTrader becomes the cheapest of all for traders who reach a payout, because it refunds the One-Step and Two-Step fee with the first payout.
How we rank the cheapest crypto prop firms
A sticker price tells you very little. A $9 account worth $1,000 costs $90 per $10,000 of funding, which is nearly four times what The5ers charges for its largest Bootcamp. We adjust every list price three ways:
- Size. We divide the fee by the account size, so a $5,000 and a $200,000 account can be compared on equal terms.
- Resets. Most traders fail at least once, so we add one failed attempt. At The5ers' Bootcamp, Crypto Fund Trader's Break, WenCrypto's pay-later, Fundedbit's Fast Track and Mubite's Nitro, a failed attempt costs only the upfront part.
- Refunds. For traders who expect to reach a payout, a refunded fee lowers the real cost.
We use list prices only. Promotions change weekly and limited releases sell out: Breakout's $139 Spark sold out on 29 September 2026, and Kraken Prop's $139 Lite is gone too.
| Firm | Best price per $10K | With one reset | Refund rule |
|---|---|---|---|
| The5ers | $23.00 (Bootcamp $250K) | $32.00 | Bootcamp: none |
| AquaFunded | $27.92 (2-Step Pro $100K) | $55.84 | Not published |
| RebelsFunding | $29.34 (Copper $320K) | $58.69 | 150-200% bonus with first reward |
| Breakout | $33.00 (Turbo $100K) | $66.00 | None |
| Kraken Prop | $33.00 (Advanced $100K) | $66.00 | None once trading starts |
| E8 Markets | $39.90 (E8 One Perpetual $200K) | $79.80 | Not published |
| HyroTrader | $48.45 (2-step $200K) | $96.90 | With first payout (1- and 2-step) |
| Crypto Fund Trader | $52.70 (Break $100K) | $72.60 | Not published |
The fairest single number is the fee per $10,000 after one reset. It accounts for size and for the likelihood that your first attempt fails.
Five checks before you buy a cheap challenge
- Compare per $10,000, never the sticker. Small accounts almost always cost more per dollar of funding.
- Add a reset. Plans that charge only an upfront fee for a failed attempt are cheaper for most traders.
- Count a refund only if you expect to get paid. HyroTrader refunds with the first payout, FTMO's 2-Step with the first reward, Mubite's 2-step with the first split, and Goat Funded Trader with the fourth payout.
- Check for a consistency rule. Crypto Fund Trader's Break account caps any single day at 40% of profit. Breakout's Turbo has no such rule. Our consistency rule explainer covers why this matters.
- Check payout fees. Funded Trader Markets takes 5% of every crypto reward and The5ers 3.5% of every withdrawal, which quietly raises the real price.
Trade-offs at the cheap end
The5ers is the cheapest per $10,000, but it is a forex firm with Bitcoin and Ethereum CFDs only, and crypto leverage on the Bootcamp is 1:0.60, so a crypto trade needs more margin than its own value. It is cheap capital for a forex trader who dabbles in crypto, not a crypto-native account.
Breakout is the cheapest crypto-first option. The $20 Turbo entry and the $100,000 Turbo at $330 are attractive, but the Turbo price buys the tightest floor, a static 3% maximum drawdown, and fees are never refunded. See the Breakout review.
HyroTrader looks mid-priced at $48.45 per $10,000, yet for a trader who reaches a first payout the One-Step or Two-Step fee comes back. Its newer Zero-Step, from $89 for $5,000, is not refundable once activated. Details are in the HyroTrader review.
WenCrypto is the cheapest way to try: $5 upfront for $5,000, then $69 after passing. In full it costs $60.90 per $10,000, and its pay-later funded floor sits 5% below the end-of-day high. See the WenCrypto review.
The most expensive challenges and what they buy
At the other end, HyperPNL costs $84.00 per $10,000 but fills orders against Hyperliquid's live order book and pays USDC by smart contract. Bitfunded and PropW cost $79.80, TradeXProp $70.00 and Upscale $69.95. A higher fee sometimes buys a feature the cheap firms lack.
Discount codes can cut list prices further; they are collected on our discount codes page. Accounts that skip the challenge entirely cost more per $10,000 and are ranked on the instant funding list. For the full ranking on rules and payouts, see the best crypto prop firms.
