Pros and cons
What we like
- Entry from $28 for a $5,000 E8 Pro account, with list prices published for every size up to $500,000

- United States not restricted, with a US-only Aeropay payout rail
- E8 Pro has a static floor, no consistency rule and daily payouts
- Crypto stays open 24/7, weekends included
Watch out for
- Only bitcoin and ether get 1:15; every other coin is capped at 1:2
- No direct crypto payout: money leaves only through Rise, WorkMarket or Aeropay

This E8 Markets review looks at the firm through a crypto trader's eyes. E8 Markets sells prop accounts across several asset classes rather than specialising in crypto, but since September 2026 its crypto offer has been rebuilt around perpetual futures that take their prices, spreads and funding from Hyperliquid. That makes it one of the more interesting forex-first firms for anyone who trades bitcoin and ether, as long as the leverage and payout limits suit you.
Who runs E8 Markets and what it sells
The contracting company is E8 Funding LLC, and its Terms of Service fall under Texas law, with disputes sent to mandatory arbitration. The firm does not publish a founding year anywhere we could find, which is an odd gap for a business of its size. It sells two account types today, E8 One and E8 Pro. A third, E8 Signature, quietly disappeared from the checkout configurator in October 2026 even though help articles still describe it.
When you buy either account you pick a market. The Perpetual market is the one that matters here: it replaced the older "Crypto" accounts (E8 One Crypto, E8 Pro Crypto, E8 Signature Crypto), which now sit under legacy products and are no longer sold. Many comparison sites still describe the retired version, so check the date on anything you read. The Forex market also carries crypto, but only as CFDs at 1:1.
Everything is simulated. Prices, spreads, slippage and funding mirror Hyperliquid, yet no order ever reaches that exchange and no capital is deployed. If you want an account whose activity can be checked on-chain, look at our on-chain crypto prop firms list instead, and read simulated vs real capital for why that distinction matters.
How the E8 One and E8 Pro challenges work
Both accounts are single-phase evaluations with no minimum day count, so a strong first session can pass. The drawdown you select at checkout changes the target and the price. The numbers below use the configurator defaults: a 6% drawdown on E8 One and the 8% setting the help centre describes for E8 Pro.
| Rule | E8 One Perpetual | E8 Pro Perpetual |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target | 9% | 8% (6% at the 6% setting) |
| Daily loss | 4% of day's starting balance | 2.5% of initial balance |
| Maximum loss | 6%, trails closed profit, locks at start balance | 8% static |
| Daily profit counted | No cap | 2% of initial balance |
| Best-day rule | 40% at payout (funded) | None |
| News (funded) | No trades within 5 min of high-impact news | Unrestricted |
| Inactivity | One closed trade per 60 days | Same |
The rules that shape crypto trading
Three rules do most of the work. First, the E8 One floor trails closed profit until it reaches the starting balance, so early gains tighten your room rather than widen it. Our trailing vs static drawdown guide shows how that plays out in dollars.
Second, E8 Pro counts no more than 2% of the initial balance toward the target per day. A 5% day on bitcoin still banks only 2%, so an 8% target needs at least four trading days however well you trade.
Third, the daily reset happens at 00:00 server time and the help centre does not name the time zone. Crypto keeps moving through that reset on weekends, so check what time E8 Terminal's server shows before you count on a fresh daily limit. The daily drawdown rule explainer covers why the reference point matters.
Stop-losses are not mandatory, weekend holding is allowed on both accounts, and copy trading is permitted only between your own accounts. Perpetual accounts use netting, so you cannot hold a long and a short on the same symbol at once.
BTC and ETH get 1:15 on either Perpetual account, but every other coin is capped at 1:2, which makes altcoin-heavy strategies very capital-hungry.
Leverage, markets and trading costs
E8 lists "major and altcoin perpetuals" without publishing a count. The live markets explorer shows the full set, which follows Hyperliquid's listings, from BTC and ETH through SOL, XRP and DOGE to smaller names such as AAVE. Per-instrument position caps follow Hyperliquid's order-book depth.
Trading fees copy Hyperliquid's structure: 0.045% of notional for market orders and 0.015% of notional when you use limit orders, plus funding at Hyperliquid's rates while a position is open. On a $10,000 bitcoin position, a market-order round trip costs about $9 and a limit-order round trip about $3. Spreads are described as roughly one tick on major instruments.
Costs and value per $10K
At list prices with default settings, E8 Pro is the cheaper way in at small sizes, while E8 One is cheaper from $200,000 upward.
| Account | E8 One Perpetual | E8 Pro Perpetual | Pro cost per $10K |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $48 | $28 | $56 |
| $10,000 | $88 | $59 | $59 |
| $50,000 | $288 | $218 | $43.60 |
| $100,000 | $488 | $468 | $46.80 |
| $500,000 | $1,998 | $2,469 | $49.38 |
E8 One at $100,000 works out to $48.80 per $10K, and at $500,000 it falls to about $40. Those are among the lower figures in our cheapest crypto prop firms list. Discounts come and go: a 10% first-order offer was live on the configurator when we checked, and 30% to 50% launch codes circulated in September. Changing the drawdown or payout split at checkout moves the price.
You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Aeropay or crypto (BTC, ETH, LTC and USDC), with no stated surcharge for crypto. The source we checked does not describe a fee refund on passing.
Payouts: speed, rails and proof
The default split is 80%, and you can buy 90% or 100% at checkout. E8 One pays whenever you ask, provided the 40% best-day test is satisfied, with the first payout possible in as little as three days. E8 Pro pays daily: you may request 50% of profit once the account is 1% up, and the other half stays in as a buffer after the static floor moves up to the starting balance. The minimum request is $100 ($125 on an 80% split).
E8's own figures for January to May 2026 give a median of 11 hours to approval and 24 hours to funds, with an upper bound of five business days. Money leaves only through partners: Rise (which can pay cash or crypto), WorkMarket for US bank transfers and Aeropay for US traders. E8 states plainly that it has no direct crypto payout, so the "crypto payouts" line on its homepage means Rise. We hold no independent payout record for the firm. Compare rails across firms on our crypto payouts list or model a withdrawal with the payout calculator.
Access and checks
The United States is not restricted, which is why E8 sits on our US crypto prop firms list. Thirty-five countries are, including Pakistan and the UAE, and E8 One is capped at $200,000 for traders in India, Vietnam, Kenya and Indonesia. Identity verification through Veriff is required before purchase in practice, and a second, manual check follows a pass. E8 does not appear on the RBI's Alert List.
What changed recently
By 1 October 2026 the Perpetual market had replaced the Crypto market, bringing the Hyperliquid fee schedule with it. Later in October, E8 Signature left the configurator without an announced date. Pricing and rules on E8 One and E8 Pro stayed the same. Our rule change log tracks every update.
Who E8 Markets suits, and who should skip it
E8 suits US-based traders who mainly trade bitcoin and ether, want order-book-realistic pricing, and are happy to be paid through Rise or a US bank rail. E8 Pro in particular rewards patient traders: static floor, no consistency rule and daily withdrawals.
Skip it if you trade altcoins with size, because 1:2 leverage ties up half the position value as margin. Skip it too if you want stablecoins sent straight to your own wallet, or proof of payouts you can check on a block explorer. HyperPNL and Propr are the closer fit for on-chain payouts, and HyroTrader offers a crypto-first rulebook with far more pairs.
E8 Markets review verdict
Our E8 Markets review scores the firm 75 out of 100. Cost and access are its strongest areas: entry starts at $28, list prices reach $500,000, and few firms are this open to US traders. Rule leniency is the weak spot. The E8 One trailing floor, E8 Pro's 2% daily counting cap and the 1:2 altcoin limit all make crypto harder than the headline suggests. For BTC and ETH traders who accept partner payouts, it is a solid, well-documented choice. Traders who want broad altcoin exposure or wallet-direct payouts should look elsewhere.
Frequently asked questions
Is E8 Markets a real crypto exchange account?
No. E8 Markets accounts are simulated. Its perpetuals mirror the market data from Hyperliquid, yet nothing is ever routed to that exchange and no real capital is used.
What leverage does E8 Markets give on crypto?
BTC and ETH get 1:15 on either Perpetual account. All other crypto perpetuals are limited to 1:2, and crypto CFDs on Forex accounts run at 1:1.
Can I get paid in USDT or USDC directly from E8 Markets?
Not directly. E8 pays only through partners. Rise can deliver cash or crypto, while WorkMarket and Aeropay are US bank options.
Does E8 Markets accept US traders?
Yes. America is not among the restricted countries, and US traders can use the Aeropay payout rail. Thirty-five other countries are restricted, including Pakistan and the UAE.
Can I hold crypto positions over the weekend at E8 Markets?
Yes. Perpetuals trade 24/7 and weekend holding is allowed on both accounts. The daily loss limit still resets at 00:00 server time, so check that clock if you hold through Saturday or Sunday.
