Our corrections policy is simple: when a firm's own page shows we recorded something wrong, we fix the value, add a dated note on the page, and log the fix publicly as a CryptoPropFirms correction. We never correct silently, and we label a fix differently from a change the firm made itself.
How to report an error
Email hello@cryptopropfirms.io with the firm, the value, and a link to the firm's page that shows the correct figure. Details are on our contact page. We aim to reply within 2β3 business days and will confirm whether we updated the figure, left it unchanged or scheduled another look.
How a correction appears
Each correction shows up in two places at once:
- On the page, as a dated note beneath the corrected value. The note stays until the next scheduled re-check confirms the new value.
- In the changes log, as a permanent row with the firm, the field, the old value, the new value, the source and the date, labelled as a correction.
Corrections policy vs rule changes
| Type | What happened | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Rule change | The firm changed what it publishes | HyroTrader removed its mandatory stop-loss requirement; we logged both versions plus the FAQ page as proof |
| Correction | We recorded something the firm never stated | Crypto Fund Trader's prices for its two evaluation models were filed against the wrong model |
If a value came from an FAQ answer the firm later deletes, we log a rule change dated the day we noticed the removal. The reasoning sits in our methodology.
The label tells you who moved: the firm, or us.
The kinds of corrections we make
Our records have been through dozens of corrections while being built and re-checked. They fall into a handful of groups:
| Category | Typical issue | Examples from our log |
|---|---|---|
| Prices and plan lineups | A price ladder, a plan name or a model list was incomplete or mislabelled | Swapped Crypto Fund Trader prices; incomplete The5ers and Bitfunded price tables |
| Drawdown and risk rules | Daily limit, maximum drawdown or its type recorded from an outdated page | Corrected drawdown types at Mubite, BrightFunded and Goat Funded Trader |
| Payout and refund terms | Frequency, methods, refund timing or bonus terms | Dolvero payout methods split by account type; Funded Trader Markets bonus instead of refund |
| Who can join | Country access recorded as unknown when the terms answered it | US access clarified at Dolvero, Mubite and RebelsFunding |
| Company facts | Legal entity, founding date or operating status | The5ers' UK and Israeli entities; HyroTrader and Klein Funding founding dates |
| Trading permissions | News, copy trading, bots or weekend rules | Copy-trading scope at TradeXProp; API trading terms at Upscale |
Most of these came from re-reading a firm's full terms instead of a summary card, which is why our re-checks start with the terms.
Can firms ask for a change?
Yes, provided they point to terms they have published. Payment never buys an edit, including from firms we have an affiliate agreement with (see our affiliate disclosure). An unsupported claim from a firm leaves our figure unchanged; we simply record, with a date, that the firm disagrees.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly does CryptoPropFirms fix errors?
Immediately after the firm's published page confirms the right figure. We aim to reply to reports within 2β3 business days.
Are corrections ever made silently?
No. Every correction gets a dated note on the page and a permanent row in our public changes log.
What is the difference between a correction and a rule change?
A rule change means the firm changed its published terms. A correction means we recorded something the firm never stated.
