Forex Prop Firms With Crypto: Crypto Rules Compared
Nine forex-first firms let you trade crypto next to forex, but their crypto terms vary far more than their forex terms. Here is what to compare.

Cheap, US-friendly perps priced off Hyperliquid, held back by 1:2 altcoin leverage and partner-only payouts
Long-running forex firm with cheap programs, but only BTC and ETH CFDs and low crypto leverage
Cheap multi-asset firm whose two new crypto challenges still lack a written rulebook
Cheap, well-documented forex firm, but only BTC and ETH at 1:1 once funded, auto-closed daily without Swing
Wide model range with static evaluation floors and $0 crypto commission, but a $3,000 cap on crypto payouts
Swiss-run firm with 715 crypto pairs across MT5, Match-Trader and a Bybit venue
Famous forex firm with 30 crypto CFDs, TradingView logins and crypto payouts, but only 1:3.33 leverage
Multi-asset firm with 39 crypto CFDs and weekend trading, but a 5% fee is taken from every crypto payout
Cheap one-phase crypto challenges with no consistency rule, but a tight static floor and no payout ledger
Short rulebook, static floors and daily USDC payouts, but unverifiable contracts and a $25K ceiling
Telegram-first firm with on-chain USDT payouts, but per-period payout caps and KYC its FAQ denies
Multi-asset firm with 48 crypto CFD pairs, euro pricing and a free $1K challenge
Bybit Demo challenges with a full fee refund, but a 2% per-trade cap and 7-day inactivity rule
Multi-phase forex firm with 17 crypto CFDs from $9, fixed floors, and crypto closed to new trades at weekends
White-label crypto challenge with a 90% split, but a two-way 3% daily cap and payouts once a month
Among forex prop firms with crypto, three stand out. BrightFunded has the widest list, 48 crypto pairs at 1:5 that you can trade and hold over the weekend. E8 Markets has the highest crypto leverage, 1:15 on Bitcoin and Ether through perpetuals priced from Hyperliquid. Funded Trader Markets keeps crypto open at weekends on every platform with no commission. We count nine forex-first firms that offer crypto, and their crypto rules range from 2 to 48 symbols and from 1:0.60 to 1:15 leverage.
How crypto works at forex prop firms with crypto
At a forex-first firm, crypto is a group of CFDs, or occasionally perpetuals, inside the same challenge you would use for forex. That has three consequences:
- The instrument. Usually a CFD priced on the firm's broker feed. E8 Markets is the exception with Hyperliquid-priced perpetuals.
- The hours. Crypto can be closed at weekends, closed only on funded accounts, or open 24/7, depending on the server.
- The leverage. It comes from the firm's margin table, not an exchange's per-pair limits.
A crypto-first firm, by contrast, builds the whole account around crypto. We cover the differences in crypto vs forex prop firms.
| Firm | Crypto symbols | BTC leverage | Weekend crypto | Crypto payout |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BrightFunded | 48 pairs | 1:5 | Traded and held | USDC (ERC-20) |
| Funded Trader Markets | 39 CFDs | 1:5 | Open on all platforms | USDT (TRC20), 5% fee |
| FTMO | 30 CFDs | 1:3.33 (Swing 1:1) | Open; funded Standard closes before long breaks | BTC, ETH, LTC, USDC, USDT |
| RebelsFunding | 17 CFDs vs USDT | 1:2.5 | No new trades; holding allowed | Coin not named |
| The5ers | 2 (BTC, ETH) | 1:2 (Growth/Bootcamp 1:0.60) | Open | $1,500 cap, 3.5% fee |
| FundingPips | 2 (BTC, ETH) | 1:2, then 1:1 funded | Funded trades closed daily without add-on | USDT or USDC (ERC20) |
| E8 Markets | Not published | 1:15 perps | 24/7 | Via Rise |
| Goat Funded Trader | Not published | 1:2 | Gap profits removed when funded | $3,000 per payout |
| AquaFunded | Not published | 1:2 | 24/7 | Under $5,000; 3% fee |
Read the crypto terms before the forex terms. Two firms can have identical forex rules and completely different crypto weekends, leverage and payout fees.
Five checks for crypto at a forex firm
- Count the symbols. Two CFDs at The5ers and FundingPips is a very different product from 48 pairs at BrightFunded.
- Check weekend rules at the funded stage. FundingPips closes funded trades daily unless you buy the Swing add-on. FTMO's Standard funded account closes positions before breaks over 2 hours.
- Check leverage on your program. The5ers gives 1:2 on High Stakes but 1:0.60 on Growth and Bootcamp, where a trade needs about 167% of its value as margin.
- Check crypto payout fees and caps. Funded Trader Markets charges 5%, The5ers 3.5% and AquaFunded 3%. Goat Funded Trader caps crypto payouts at $3,000 and The5ers at $1,500.
- Check the commission. FTMO charges 0.065% of volume, E8 Markets 0.045% on market orders, FundingPips 0.04%. Funded Trader Markets and Goat Funded Trader charge nothing.
Trade-offs between the leaders
BrightFunded offers the broadest crypto menu, including DeFi and layer-2 tokens, open at weekends at both stages. The downsides are a single payout coin, USDC on ERC-20, and a Trustpilot rating withheld after fake reviews were removed. Prices start at β¬47. See the BrightFunded review.
E8 Markets suits traders who want real leverage on majors: 1:15 on BTC and ETH perpetuals, with fees of 0.045% on market orders and 0.015% on limit orders. Altcoins drop to 1:2, and there is no direct crypto payout; everything goes through Rise. See the E8 Markets review.
Funded Trader Markets is the weekend trader's choice at zero commission, but takes 5% of every crypto reward and runs a Shield Risk Protocol that cuts the split if floating loss passes 1% of balance. See the Funded Trader Markets review.
FTMO is the most established name with 30 crypto CFDs, but its US entity lists only BTCUSD. See the FTMO review.
When a crypto-first firm is the better fit
If crypto is your main market, a forex firm's crypto group is a compromise. Crypto-first firms trade around the clock on their own terminals (Breakout, Kraken Prop, Velotrade), connect to exchanges (HyroTrader on Bybit or BloFin at up to 1:150 on BTC and ETH) or settle on chain (HyperPNL, Propr, SizeProp). Compare them on the best crypto prop firms ranking or the high-leverage list.
