This Goat Funded Trader review looks at a Hong Kong multi-asset prop firm that includes crypto in every model it sells. The headline terms are friendly: no commission on crypto, weekend holding allowed and static floors on all evaluations. Two rules change the picture for crypto traders, though. Funded accounts lose the profit from trades that span the Friday-to-Monday gap, and crypto payouts stop at $3,000 per request.
Who runs Goat Funded Trader
The operator is Wishes Tower International Limited (76428795), registered in Hong Kong and trading as Goat Funded Trader. The firm states it has been running since 2023. Its help centre lays out payout terms in full, and it is not named on the RBI's Alert List. We hold no independent payout record for the firm.
There is one contradiction worth knowing: Hong Kong itself is on the firm's restricted-country list. Singapore, South Korea, Israel and Chile are restricted too, among 32 countries in total. The United States is not.
The models and how they work
Goat Funded Trader sells a broad menu: a 1-Step, two 2-Step rule sets (GOAT and Standard), several Instant accounts (HERO, GOAT and PREMIUM), a fixed-price $100,000 2-Step Promo and, since late October, Instant DAILY. The evaluation rules look like this:
| Rule | 2-Step GOAT | 2-Step Standard | 1-Step |
|---|---|---|---|
| Target | 8% then 6% | 10% then 5% | 10% |
| Daily loss | 4% | 5% | 3% (4% if bought before 1 Aug 2026) |
| Max loss | 10%, static | 10%, static | 6%, static |
| Minimum days | 3 in each phase | 3 in each phase | 3 |
Daily limits start over at 17:00 in New York, which is 21:00 UTC while the US is on daylight saving. Instant accounts are different. Their floors trail (Instant HERO at 5%, Instant GOAT at 6%), and both of those carry a 15% consistency rule; failing it holds back a payout but does not end the account. PREMIUM has no consistency rule. Instant DAILY pays daily and lasts 30 days. Our trailing vs static drawdown guide explains why the evaluation floors are the friendlier choice.
Funded rules that matter for crypto
Once funded, every model shares a few extra conditions. You need four trading days per payout (three for accounts bought before late July 2026). Profit per day is capped at $3,000 under a feature the firm calls Goat Guard. And for accounts bought from 8 October 2026, you can only request a payout once your biggest win is no smaller than your biggest loss.
News trading is allowed in both stages. However, any trade opened or closed within five minutes of a high-impact release can keep profit of at most 1% of starting balance. Anything above that is clawed back, with no breach.
On funded accounts, profit from any trade opened in the last three hours of Friday and closed in the first three hours of Monday is removed, even though crypto traded all weekend.
That weekend-gap rule targets the Monday reopen of traditional markets, but it catches crypto too, because crypto sits on the same CFD platform. Open bitcoin late on a Friday in New York, close it soon after Monday's open, and the gain is wiped. See our weekend holding guide for how other firms treat this.
Leverage and what you can trade
Crypto trades at 1:2 in both the evaluation and the funded stage, so a $10,000 position ties up $5,000 of margin. The "up to 1:100" on the homepage refers to forex. There is no published list, or even a count, of crypto pairs; the firm's blog simply advises checking symbols before you buy. You can only see them in the trading platform, so look there first if a specific altcoin matters to you. The position size calculator is useful for planning around 1:2.
Costs and value per $10K
Crypto carries no commission. Spreads are live only, and no swap figure is published. These prices were read from the configurator with a promotion already applied automatically.
| Account | 2-Step GOAT | 2-Step Standard | 1-Step | Instant HERO |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $5,000 | $36 | $52 | $74 | $58 |
| $10,000 | $65 | $90 | $114 | $107 |
| $50,000 | $308 | $358 | $314 | $357 |
| $100,000 | $478 | $628 | $530 | $657 |
| $200,000 | β | $1,198 | $914 | $1,157 |
The 2-Step GOAT at $100,000 costs $47.80 per $10K and the 1-Step at $200,000 about $45.70. The fixed-price $100,000 2-Step Promo, launched on 19 October 2026 at $99, is far cheaper still at under $10 per $10K, while it lasts. Compare entry costs on our cheapest crypto prop firms list.
The fee comes back with your fourth payout, on Instant and Pay Later accounts too. Checkout accepts cards, PayPal, Skrill, AstroPay and a combined crypto option covering BTC, ETH, USDT and USDC. Note that a crypto payment cannot be reversed. One trader's complaint in September 2026 described exactly that after an account closure, so the fourth-payout refund is the only way to recover the fee.
Payouts and the $3,000 crypto cap
On 1-Step and 2-Step accounts, payouts run on a 14-day cycle counted from your first trade, and the minimum is $100. Processing takes up to two business days, and the firm pays a $1,000 bonus if it is late (except when KYC is pending). KYC is done when you first ask to be paid, via Veriff or Rise.
Here is the catch. Each payout must withdraw your full profit, and crypto stops at $3,000 per payout. If you have $4,200 of profit, crypto is not an option; you need Rise (no limit) or bank transfer (up to $10,000). Skrill caps at $5,000. With $2,800 in profit you can take crypto. Each account can have just one open request, and you cannot switch methods after submitting. Do not confuse this cap with the separate $3,000 daily profit cap: they are two rules that happen to share a number.
If you want stablecoins without a per-request ceiling, compare our crypto payouts list and model your numbers with the payout calculator.
Recent changes
October 2026 brought five updates: five countries added to the restricted list on 1 October, the largest-win payout condition from 8 October, the $99 Promo 100K on 19 October, and Instant DAILY replacing Goat Blitz on 26 October. Our rule change log tracks them all.
Who it suits, and who should avoid it
Goat Funded Trader suits forex-first traders who trade some crypto, like static evaluation floors and are happy to be paid through Rise or bank transfer. The $99 Promo makes it an inexpensive way to try a $100,000 account.
Avoid it if you want to be paid in stablecoins once your profits grow, need high crypto leverage or a published coin list, or like holding crypto from Friday into Monday. Bitfunded and Breakout have no such ceiling on crypto withdrawals.
Goat Funded Trader review verdict
Our Goat Funded Trader review scores the firm 72 out of 100. Pricing, transparency and access are solid, and static floors on every evaluation are a real plus. Payouts are the weak link for crypto traders: the $3,000 crypto ceiling and the full-withdrawal rule push larger winners onto Rise or bank. If that is acceptable, Goat Funded Trader is a reasonable, flexible multi-asset choice.
