Cointracts Review 2026: No-KYC Rules, Fees and Payouts

● active πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ͺ UAE Since 2024 crypto-first US unclear

This Cointracts review covers a Dubai crypto prop firm that stands out for three things: entry from $24.90, no identity check marketed at any stage, and a checkout that takes Indian rupees through UPI. It pays 80% of profits in USDT on Tron. What the marketing does not lead with are two funded-account payout gates, a margin cap with steep penalties, and a set of company pages that disagree about when you actually get paid.

What Cointracts is and who runs it

The terms name Cointracts Prop FZ-LLC, based in Dubai Media City, with Ras Al Khaimah law governing disputes. A third-party reviewer dates the firm to 2024, and its Trustpilot profile was claimed in July 2025; the site gives no founding date. The footer is clear that every account runs in a simulated trading environment with no real capital involved, which is standard. Our explainer on simulated vs real capital has the background.

Trading happens on the firm's own platform, on crypto futures, at up to 1:5 leverage. The homepage's "100X capital access" is a marketing line about account size, not a leverage figure. Cointracts does not publish how many pairs it offers.

How the challenge works

Plan Target Daily loss Maximum loss Min days
1-Step 10% 4% 6% None
2-Step 8% then 5% 5% 10% (8% once funded) 3 per phase

There is no time limit, but the firm can shut an account that sits idle for over 30 days. Once you pass, you reach the "Trader Stage". On the 2-Step, the maximum floor tightens from 10% to 8% at that point, which is easy to miss and important to plan for.

The rules that matter most

Drawdown

Both limits count floating profit and loss, and the FAQ says an open position that hits the daily limit ends the account immediately. On a $10,000 2-Step, the daily limit is $500 and the evaluation floor is $9,000; once funded, that floor rises to $9,200. Cointracts does not say whether the maximum floor is static or trailing. That gap matters, and our trailing vs static drawdown guide shows how differently the two end accounts. Ask support in writing before you buy, and model both cases in the drawdown calculator.

Consistency and the margin cap

Two rules sit on funded payouts. First, no one day may account for half or more of your total from winning days. Second, at every stage, the margin tied up across open positions has to remain under 70% of the balance. Breach the margin cap and the payout is cut by 50% at 70–79% peak usage, 60% at 80–89%, 65% at 90–95% and 70% at 96–100%; repeat violations trigger a manual review with penalties up to 100%. Usage is measured at peak, not at the close. Some plan cards also mention a 2% loss limit per trade idea. Use our consistency calculator to check your best-day ratio before requesting.

On a $100,000 account, a single moment with $70,000 of open margin halves your next payout. The margin cap, not the drawdown, is the rule most likely to cost you money.

Stop-loss, weekends, news and automation

A stop-loss is not a formal rule, though the FAQ expects predefined exits and can flag unmanaged exposure when it reviews a payout. Overnight and weekend holding is fully allowed. The firm publishes no news rule. EAs, algorithmic trading and copy trading are allowed. Hedging is banned in every form: within one account, across accounts, or through coordinated trading. You may run several challenges under one profile but only one funded account per type.

Costs and value per $10K

Size 1-Step 2-Step
$2,000 $32.90 $24.90
$5,000 $89 $69
$10,000 $119 $89
$50,000 $469 $399
$100,000 $799 $639

Counting a fee plus one reset, the $100K 2-Step costs about $128 per $10,000 and the $5K 1-Step about $356. Unusually, the $2,000 tier is cheaper per $10,000 than the $5,000 tier. There are no add-ons. A buy-one-get-one promotion has run since 15 September 2026. A third-party audit in September recorded a higher 2-Step ladder on another firm page, so the checkout price is the only one that binds. You can pay in crypto or rupees via UPI, the only firm we track that takes UPI; see crypto prop firms in India.

Payouts: speed, method, refund and proof

Payout detail Cointracts
Split 80% (promotions up to 100%)
Minimum $100
Currency USDT on Tron (TRC-20)
Request cadence Every 24 hours after the first (FAQ)
Processing Typically 3 business days, at most 7

The homepage advertises daily payouts, but the documents describe two calendars. The FAQ allows a request every 24 hours. The terms instead move profit into a withdrawable balance once a month, on a split day you choose within a 10-day window (or the month's last day if you do not choose). Get the calendar that applies to your account in writing.

Three conditions apply to every request: all positions closed, eligible profit of at least $100, and a best-day ratio under 50%. If the ratio is at or above 50%, the request is rejected or returned until further profitable days bring it down. One Trustpilot reviewer wrote in late September 2026 that a ratio of 49.9% was still not accepted and that no calculation was shared, and another noted the dashboard's loss figures lagging the platform by about ten minutes. Keep your own records of daily profit and margin use.

Fees are non-refundable except for duplicate charges or verified technical faults, but section 10 of the terms adds a cash refund of the fee you actually paid to your payout wallet: after the first paid funded payout on the 2-Step, and only after the third paid cycle on the 1-Step.

Proof is limited to the firm's own leaderboard, which claims more than $300,000 paid per month. No on-chain tracker lists Cointracts. See how prop firm payouts work.

Recent rule changes

Two payout terms changed in October 2026. The terms dated 7 October introduced the cash fee refund described above, and the homepage dropped its old line about the first payout coming after 14 trading days.

Who Cointracts suits, and who should avoid it

It suits traders who want a very cheap entry, need to pay in rupees or crypto without ID, and run bots or copy-trading tools. It is a poor fit for anyone who hedges, uses large position sizes relative to balance, or needs predictable payout timing. Cointracts publishes its restrictions only as jurisdictions under FATF, EU or UN measures, so US status is unclear. If the payout gates worry you, look at the Breakout review or our list of crypto prop firms with no consistency rule.

Cointracts review verdict

Cointracts is a real, operating firm with cheap challenges and unusually permissive rules on automation. But a Trustpilot score of 2.1 from 96 reviews with a high-risk label, conflicting payout timelines and penalties that can halve a payout make it a higher-risk choice. Our CryptoPropFirms score is 59 out of 100.

Frequently asked questions

Does Cointracts require KYC?

No identity check is marketed at any stage. The terms do collect your name, address and date of birth at sign-up.

Are Cointracts payouts really daily?

Not simply. The FAQ allows a payout request every 24 hours after the first, but the terms describe a monthly profit-split day, and processing takes up to seven business days.

What is the Cointracts margin cap?

The margin used across all open positions has to remain under 70% of the balance throughout. Breaching it cuts the payout by 50% to 70% depending on peak usage, and repeated breaches can lead to a full review.

Can I pay for a Cointracts challenge with UPI?

Yes. Cointracts accepts crypto and Indian rupees through UPI at checkout.

Does Cointracts allow bots and copy trading?

Yes. EAs, algorithmic trading and copy trading are allowed, but every form of hedging is prohibited.
