Velotrade vs HyroTrader is decided by how each firm counts your progress. Both Two-Step plans use the same targets (10% then 5%), the same 5% daily and 10% static maximum loss, and neither caps the loss on a single trade. Velotrade has no consistency rule, but it only counts a minimum day if that day closes at least 0.8% in profit. HyroTrader counts any trading day but limits each one to 40% of the profit target. Your trading style decides the winner.
Quick verdict
Velotrade suits traders who hit their target in one or two large sessions, who want FX, stocks or indices alongside crypto, or who value an on-chain link for every payout. HyroTrader suits traders who want exchange-level leverage on Bybit or BloFin, an immediate first payout and the challenge fee back. Velotrade is cheaper on small Two-Step accounts; HyroTrader is cheaper from $50,000 and is the only one of the two selling $200,000. Both say their accounts are simulated in every phase.
Cost per $10K
| Plan | $5K | $10K | $50K | $100K | Per $10K at $100K |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Velotrade Classic 2-Step | $54 | $100 | $419 | $769 | $76.90 |
| Velotrade Classic 1-Step | $67 | $127 | $543 | $1,075 | $107.50 |
| Velotrade Pro 1-Step | $40 | $74 | $305 | $558 | $55.80 |
| HyroTrader Two-Step | $59 | $119 | $379 | $579 | $57.90 |
| HyroTrader One-Step | $69 | $129 | $499 | $749 | $74.90 |
On the matching Two-Step, Velotrade is $5 to $24 cheaper up to $25,000 and HyroTrader wins from $50,000. The refund matters more than the sticker: HyroTrader returns the One- and Two-Step fee with the first payout, so a $10,000 Two-Step trader who gets paid is out $0 at HyroTrader and $100 at Velotrade, where fees are non-refundable once you log in. Velotrade's cheapest plan, the $40 Pro 1-Step, has a tight 3% daily and 3% maximum loss. Velotrade's 90% split add-on adds 20% at checkout; PROPRUBRIC takes 2% off HyroTrader.
Velotrade vs HyroTrader: rules head-to-head
How a passing day counts
Take a $10,000 Two-Step with a $1,000 target. Make $700 on day one at HyroTrader and only $400 counts (40% of the target), so you still need $600 over at least four more trading days. Make the same $700 at Velotrade and all of it counts, but you still need five days that each close at least $80 of realised profit; a day at +$50 or a loss does not count. Velotrade's rule has been in force since August 2026.
A single big day hurts you at HyroTrader. Small or uneven winning days hurt you at Velotrade. Pick the firm whose rule your track record already fits.

Drawdown
Both firms use a static maximum loss. Velotrade measures the daily limit below the higher of balance or equity at 00:30 UTC; HyroTrader measures from equity at 00:00 UTC, fixed for the day. On one-step plans, HyroTrader sets 4% daily and 6% maximum; Velotrade Classic sets 4% and 7%, and Pro sets 3% and 3%.
Leverage and costs
HyroTrader inherits exchange leverage: up to 150x on BTC and ETH and 50xβ100x on most pairs. Velotrade allows 10x on BTC in the challenge and 5x funded, 6x then 5x on ETH and SOL, and 2x on most altcoins. HyroTrader caps funded margin at 25% and notional exposure at twice the initial balance. Velotrade charges 0.05% daily funding on crypto positions held at 00:30 UTC, weekends included; HyroTrader charges none of its own. Velotrade also offers bots and a full DXtrade API at no extra cost, and requires a trade every 30 days.
Payouts
HyroTrader pays as soon as the funded account is in profit, within 24 hours, in USDT or USDC, from $100, capped at 5% of the initial balance per request. Velotrade's first payout comes 14 days after your first funded trade plus five qualifying days; after that it pays weekly within 24 hours of approval, in USDC or USDT on Arbitrum, from $100. Its first two payouts are capped at 20 times the challenge fee, with anything above forfeited, and only full withdrawals are allowed.
Both start at 80% and reach 90%. Velotrade links every payout to an Arbiscan transaction; HyroTrader publishes Solana payouts with transaction IDs, which is a sample rather than every payment. For a wider look at payout terms, see our crypto payout firms list.
Platforms and access
Velotrade uses DXtrade on desktop, web and mobile, with 104 crypto perpetuals plus FX, stocks, indices and commodities. HyroTrader connects your Bybit or BloFin demo account or runs on its Hyro platform, with 700+ USDT perpetuals. Both accept US traders and verify identity before the funded account.
Velotrade Re Limited was incorporated in Hong Kong in November 2025 and launched the platform in 2026; HyroTrader has operated since 2023. Velotrade's Trustpilot rating was withheld after fake reviews were removed (only eight reviews), while HyroTrader showed 4.0 from 229.
