HyroTrader vs Crypto Fund Trader is a closer fight than most pairings because both firms put Bybit on the box. The word means different things at each. At HyroTrader your challenge is your own Bybit (or BloFin) demo account, connected by API, with Bybit's screens and per-pair leverage. At Crypto Fund Trader, Bybit is one of three venues next to MT5 and Match-Trader, limited to USDT pairs with spot trading banned. HyroTrader wins on payout timing, the fee refund and floors that never trail. Crypto Fund Trader wins on price and on lighter passing rules.
Quick verdict
Choose HyroTrader if you want to trade inside the real Bybit interface, expect to get funded, and want your first payout as soon as you are in profit. Choose Crypto Fund Trader if you are price-sensitive, dislike minimum-day requirements, or want MT5 and a far wider set of 715 pairs plus forex. Both firms state that every phase runs on simulated capital.
Cost per $10K
Crypto Fund Trader is cheaper on sticker price at every size on the one-phase plan, by $29 at $5,000 and $100 at $200,000. Its Break account is the cheapest route to $100,000 at $527 all-in, but it comes with a 40% consistency rule.
| Plan | $5K | $10K | $100K | Per $10K at $100K |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HyroTrader Two-Step | $59 | $119 | $579 | $57.90 |
| HyroTrader One-Step | $69 | $129 | $749 | $74.90 |
| CFT 1-Phase | $40 | $80 | $619 | $61.90 |
| CFT 2-Phase | $58 | $110 | $660 | $66.00 |
| CFT Break | β | β | $199 + $328 | $52.70 |
Two factors flip the answer for some traders. HyroTrader returns the One- and Two-Step fee with your first payout, so a funded trader ends up paying nothing, while Crypto Fund Trader publishes no refund. And a failed Break attempt costs only the $199 upfront part, which makes it the cheapest retry in this pairing. Crypto Fund Trader's weekly-payout add-on costs 20% of the fee; HyroTrader sells no add-ons, and PROPRUBRIC takes 2% off its price.
HyroTrader vs Crypto Fund Trader: rules head-to-head
One-phase drawdown
This is the rule that splits outcomes. HyroTrader's floors are static on every model (10% Two-Step, 6% One-Step, 5% Zero-Step). Crypto Fund Trader's 2-Phase is static at 10%, but its 1-Phase uses a 6% floor that trails until the account is 6% up. On a $100,000 account that climbs to $104,000, HyroTrader's floor stays at $94,000 while Crypto Fund Trader's moves up to $97,760. A slide back to $97,500 breaches only the Crypto Fund Trader account. Our trailing vs static drawdown guide has more examples.
On the one-phase plans the cheaper firm carries the riskier floor. Check which model you are actually buying before you compare prices.
Daily limit
The two firms are nearly identical here: 5% on the two-phase plans and 4% on the one-phase plans. HyroTrader measures from equity at 00:00 UTC; Crypto Fund Trader from balance at 00:05 UTC.
Consistency and minimum days
HyroTrader caps any evaluation day at 40% of the profit target (one trade at 50% on Zero-Step) and asks for five trading days per phase. Crypto Fund Trader has no consistency rule outside Break and, per its FAQ, no minimum days (an older page still says five). If you tend to make your target in two or three sessions, run your numbers through the consistency calculator.
Per-trade risk and leverage
Neither firm caps losses on a single trade on standard plans. Crypto Fund Trader instead caps profit from any one day or trade at $10,000. HyroTrader offers up to 150x on BTC and ETH and 50xβ100x on most pairs. Crypto Fund Trader offers up to 1:100 on Bybit and larger MT5/Match-Trader accounts, and 1:5 everywhere else.
Payouts
HyroTrader pays on demand from the first profit on a funded account, in USDT or USDC within 24 hours, from $100 after the split, capped at 5% of the initial balance per request. Crypto Fund Trader pays after 15 traded days or 30 calendar days (weekly with the add-on), averaging around eight hours and up to 48 business hours, and offers bank transfer, USDT on Ethereum or Tron, BTC or ETH.
Both start at 80% and reach 90% (Crypto Fund Trader starts at 50β80% depending on model). HyroTrader publishes its Solana payouts with on-chain transaction IDs and reported $9.2 million paid since 2023 on its dashboard. Crypto Fund Trader publishes no independent payout proof.
Platforms and access
HyroTrader connects to Bybit or BloFin demo accounts or runs on its Hyro platform. Crypto Fund Trader runs MT5, Match-Trader and a Bybit sub-account under your own master account. See all Bybit-connected prop firms for how deep each integration goes.
HyroTrader accepts US residents and publishes a restricted list without the United States. Crypto Fund Trader accepts US traders on Match-Trader and Bybit only. On Trustpilot, HyroTrader showed 4.0 from 229 reviews when we checked, while Crypto Fund Trader's rating was withheld after fake reviews were removed.

Frequently asked questions
Which is cheaper, HyroTrader or Crypto Fund Trader?
Crypto Fund Trader on sticker price: its 1-Phase starts at $40 for $5,000 against $59 for the HyroTrader Two-Step, and its Break account costs $527 all-in for $100,000. HyroTrader refunds the One- and Two-Step fee with the first payout, which reverses the result for traders who get paid.
Do both firms use Bybit?
Yes, but differently. HyroTrader runs the challenge on your own Bybit or BloFin demo account through an API. Crypto Fund Trader offers a Bybit sub-account as one of three venues, limited to USDT pairs with spot trading banned.
Which pays out first?
HyroTrader. You can request a payout as soon as the funded account is in profit, and it is paid within 24 hours. Crypto Fund Trader pays after 15 traded days or 30 calendar days.
Does Crypto Fund Trader have minimum trading days?
Its FAQ says none, though an older evaluation page still mentions five per phase. HyroTrader requires five per phase on the One- and Two-Step, and one on the Zero-Step.
