This Klein Funding review covers a young crypto prop firm with five plans spread over two venues: the Cleo platform, and a Bybit demo sub-account you link by API. It is cheap to enter and lets you choose your own profit share, which few firms do. It also has more moving parts than its marketing suggests, and a couple of transparency gaps that keep its score at 55 out of 100.
What Klein Funding is and who runs it
Klein Funding's terms name KUENTECH LLC, with an address at 131 Continental Drive in Newark, Delaware. The same clause also calls it an English and Welsh registration, with the company number left empty. Its Trustpilot contact address is in Covent Garden, London. Three addresses, and nothing says which entity actually contracts with you.
The About page puts the founding in 2024. Finance Magnates reported a Bybit partnership in January 2025, describing the firm as a newcomer that had launched late the previous year. Under its terms, each account is a demo running on virtual money, so as with nearly every firm we cover, the trading is simulated.
How the Klein Funding challenge works
You pick a venue, a plan and a profit share at checkout:
| Plan | Venue | Target | Max floor | Floor type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cleo One Step | Cleo | 10% | 6% | Static |
| Cleo Flex | Cleo | 9% | 3% | Fixed trailing |
| Bybit One Step | Bybit | 6% | 6% | Static |
| Bybit Two Step | Bybit | 6%, then 3% | 6% | Static |
| Bybit Instant Pro | Bybit | None | 6% | "Smart" |
Every plan has a 3% daily limit, calculated from the starting balance at 00:05 UTC. There is no minimum number of trading days in evaluation and no time limit, though Bybit accounts can be closed for inactivity. On the Bybit plans you connect a demo sub-account of your own Bybit login using a read-write API key, so Bybit's country rules apply to you as well as Klein's.
The rules that matter most
Three different drawdown floors
The FAQ says all drawdowns are static. The plan cards say otherwise. Cleo One Step and the two Bybit challenges use a fixed floor. Cleo Flex uses a 3% floor that follows equity upward and never comes back down. Instant Pro has a "Smart" floor, which follows equity upward until the account gains 3%, then locks permanently at 3% below the starting balance.
On a $10,000 account that means the static floor sits at $9,400. Smart begins at $9,400 and freezes at $9,700 once you reach $10,300. A trader who climbs 3% and then gives back 6% is finished. If floor mechanics are new to you, read trailing vs static drawdown and test your own numbers in the drawdown calculator.
The Stability Score
This is Klein's version of a consistency rule, and it covers the Bybit plans only, both before and after funding. Your best day has to stay under 45% of total profit on the two-phase plan, and under 30% on the one-phase plans. Breaching it does not end the account. It simply blocks your payout until later days bring the ratio down. The Cleo cards are marked as having no stability rule. Our consistency rules page shows how firms compare.
On a Bybit plan, one great day can delay your first withdrawal by several sessions. Model it before you pick Bybit over Cleo.
Stop-loss, news, weekends and automation
No stop-loss is required and no per-trade loss cap is published, but Bybit trades must stay open for at least 50 seconds. Weekend holding is allowed. Klein does not publish a news trading rule either way. Bots and EAs are banned, copy trading is banned even between your own accounts, and a second evaluation running alongside the first is treated as a breach.
Costs and value per $10K
Displayed prices run from $35.63 for a $5,000 Cleo Flex to $1,315.75 for a $50,000 Instant Pro. Every card shows a crossed-out list price above a lower displayed price with no stated end date, so treat the displayed figure as the real price. The 70% split is the default, and choosing a different share between 40% and 100% changes the price at checkout. All purchases are final.
Counting the fee plus one reset, cost per $10,000 looks like this:
| Plan | $10K account | $50K account | $100K account |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cleo Flex | $130.62 | $114.00 | $104.50 |
| Bybit Two Step | $161.50 | $150.10 | $166.25 |
| Bybit Instant Pro | $562.40 | $526.30 | n/a |
Cleo Flex is cheapest because its trailing 3% floor is the hardest to survive. Instant Pro costs roughly four times more per $10,000 because it skips the evaluation.
Payouts: speed, method and proof
Payouts are on demand once you are funded, subject to the Stability Score on Bybit plans. Instant Pro adds its own gate: three days each up 0.5% or more, plus 4% overall profit, before the first request. Methods are unusually broad: BTC, ETH, USDT over Ethereum or Tron, Wise, or a bank transfer in EUR or USD. The firm quotes 4 to 24 hours, usually within 4.
What Klein does not publish is proof. There is no payout feed and no minimum withdrawal figure, and identity checks can be requested at any stage, with unverified users liable to be refused withdrawals. Compare rails and evidence in our payouts guide.
Recent changes
Klein left its rules, prices and models untouched in October 2026. Our own record was corrected on two points: the 2024 founding date now comes from the firm's About page, and the Bybit connection uses a read-write key on a demo sub-account, not a tracking-only key. See the full rule changes log.
Who Klein Funding suits, and who should avoid it
It suits budget-minded traders who want Bybit-style execution, traders who would pay more for an 80% to 100% split, and anyone who wants fiat payout options alongside crypto. Cleo One Step, with a static floor and no Stability Score, is the cleanest plan of the five.
Avoid it if you rely on bots, if your profits come in big single days on Bybit, or if you need a clear country list. Klein publishes none, and the sanctions-style wording it does use points to a list we could not find. If those gaps bother you, HyroTrader and Mubite are the closest Bybit-connected alternatives, and our Bybit prop firm list ranks the rest.
Klein Funding review verdict
Our Klein Funding review scores it 55 out of 100. Price and the selectable split are real strengths, and payouts are fast and flexible on paper. Against that, the FAQ contradicts the plan cards on drawdown, the Stability Score gates Bybit payouts, the operator's address is inconsistent, and Trustpilot has withheld its rating after removing fake reviews. It is legitimate and operating, but you should read the plan card, not the FAQ, before buying.
Frequently asked questions
Is Klein Funding legit?
It is an operating firm whose terms name KUENTECH LLC and Finance Magnates covered its tie-up with Bybit. Cautions include a withheld Trustpilot rating after fake reviews were removed and three different company addresses.
Are all Klein Funding drawdowns static?
No. Static floors apply only to Cleo One Step and the two Bybit challenges; Cleo Flex uses a 3% fixed trailing floor, and Instant Pro uses a Smart floor that locks 3% below the starting balance once you are 3% up.
What is the Klein Funding Stability Score?
A consistency check on Bybit plans: no single day can make up 45% (two-phase) or 30% (one-phase) or more of total profit. It does not fail the account, but it blocks payouts until the ratio falls.
How does Klein Funding pay out?
Whenever you request it, in BTC, ETH, USDT (Ethereum or Tron), via Wise or by bank transfer, usually inside 4 hours and at most 24. The default split is 70%, and you can choose 40% to 100% at checkout for a different price.
Does Klein Funding accept US traders?
It does not say. The firm publishes no usable country list, only sanctions-based wording, and Bybit plans also depend on Bybit accepting your country.
